"Hidden Agenda" - A show or a genre?

Postby ProPrankster » Sat Apr 23, 2016 5:18 pm

"Hidden Agenda" was an ill-fated, short-lived hidden camera reality game show in which wives secretly force their husbands to do what they want them to do; all for cash.

"Hidden Agenda" is an emerging genre of reality television where the "mark" is asked to be a part of a television show that has a secret or ulterior motive. "Fameless" would be a top tier example of a hidden agenda television show. Every episode features three segments where "real people" (the marks) are asked to be participants on a reality television program but what the "marks" don't know is that it's all been scripted. A "mark" is asked to be on a television program that is completely fabricated and designed to put the "mark" in absurd and ridiculous comedic situations. Almost every aspect of the production is designed to make the "Fameless" "mark" a television star.
